Desperate to know what happened during the missing hours, Lucinda must decide if his offer is worth the risk. But can she put aside her troubled past, and will she be prepared to learn the truth?

Volume 3: One Bad Thing
A body has washed ashore from the San Francisco Bay. A lone male was out for a run in the area when he discovered it. By the condition, it hasn’t been in the water for long. As no one has called to report a man missing, John Doucette investigates to find out if the death is related to a suicide, an accident, or a murder.
There are few clues to help him figure out what happened. There are; however, indications on the torso that the man may have been involved in a fight, or maybe his body had contact with the rocks.
Doucette soon discovers several people with motive and all of them had the opportunity to kill the victim.
