For as long as I can remember, Friday has been my favorite day of the week. This Friday has been one of the best I can remember and rounded out a pretty superb week all-in-all. This week I made time in my schedule for the things that are most important, and that often get neglected: family and friends. I’ve had lunch out with friends I haven’t seen in a while, I chatted with family more than 5000 miles away, helped teach my young nephews how to play chess (via email no less) shared coffee and laughs with more friends, and then today I discovered a wonderful email in my inbox with the offer of a contract for my 2nd suspense novel, No Alibi. What could be better? Oh, and this week, the volcanic ash cloud moved away from the UK, meaning I might be able to go home. Whooopeeeee.
